My name is Tsogang Laurance Thebe. I am truly grateful for what God has done in my life in general and academics. Ever since I started fellowshipping at 3G Ministries and through the PPS teachings by Prophet Cedric, my life changed a lot. When I started my senior school, I had strong motivation and courage from the PPS messages like ‘Sacrifice your present for the sake of your future’. With this in my heart, I told myself that I was going to do my level best to emerge victorious at the end. Gradually, laziness deviated me from this track that I was following and my performance started dropping. Through the PPS testimonies and PPS messages like ‘Up your spirit’ I started to push myself by working hard and by the grace of God I obtained 40 points which were just the right points to qualify me for a Piloting course.

Growing up, I would watch planes as they flew by our house and most of my toys were of planes. This love for aviation grew stronger as such, I applied for a piloting course and by the grace of God I was admitted at one of the aviation schools here in Botswana. The thought of going outside the country to pursue this course had never crossed my mind, little did I know God had great plans for me. Just a week before commencing our studies, I received a call from DTEF calling us for a meeting. We attended the meeting where we were told that the government had given us the opportunity to choose any aviation school in the southern region and would be sponsored. This is where I knew that it is not my will in action but God’s Will. I was admitted at 43 Air School (Port Alfred SA) which is the best aviation school in South Africa and the whole of Africa.

From the teaching of the man of God, I learned that as we advance to another level in life so do our challenges. Indeed, I had a practical experience of this as there were times where I had to repeat lessons or rewrite exams but when all this happened, I knew that Christianity does not eliminate challenges. In every PPS message, we learned that character is the foundation and everything revolved around it. Therefore, I made sure I do not lose character, which is why I had friends who were of good character; feared the Lord and conscious of our dreams. Due to this, we were able to overcome many challenges and temptations (worldly pleasures). I had to work hard and belief God for victory at the end of my studies.

My other challenge was with regards to distance. As a young person trying to learn God, being far away from the church was not the best thing for me as my spiritual life started deteriorating. I became lazy to read and listen to the word of God but because I have a very supportive family, they would give me advice and sometimes I would call the prayer line for prayers which really helped spiritually. I also watched the 3G Ministries 2020/2021 Crossover Spirit Fellowship service where a prophetic message was given to us that we shall cross the red sea on dry ground. I took this word to heart and strongly believed that whatever happens (with regards to Covid-19 and other challenges) at the end of it all I will be victorious. By the grace of God I graduated and successfully completed my studies. I am now a qualified commercial pilot! I thank God for his protection, mercy and grace in my life.
