Ms. Josephine Thipe was diagnosed with the problem of myopia (short sightedness) since childhood. Her eyes would become red and itchy and she could barely see. On many occasions, she experienced excruciating headaches that would not even surrender to pain killers. This problem affected her life especially her academics as she failed her PSLE. She was also taken to traditional doctors and all efforts proved futile.
She endured the experience for many years even after completing school and got hired as a diamond sorter in 1998. Her job required to have perfect eye-sight, and at this point she had no choice but to succumb to using spectacles so as to improve her vision. Her hope to recovery was shuttered and her dream to see properly again also seemed to have faded away as she accepted the fact she was going to use spectacles for her entire life.
By the grace of God, she was invited to the Gospel of God’s Grace Ministries by one of her colleagues. As she continued in faith, she believed God’s mercy to locate her one day and indeed that came to pass as God chose a special day set forth for the restoration of her eye- sight. During the laying of hands, the man of God walked towards her and said, ‘ I can see your faith, you are tired of using spectacles.’ Just after the prayer, Prophet Cedric declared that her sight has been restored.
Her dream to be healed had finally been realized as she testified that Jesus Christ has restored her eye-sight through the faculties of His servant, Prophet Cedric. Ms. Thipe can now see and read without using spectacles and her frequent visits to see the doctors concerning the headache are now things of the past.
