Are you looking for healing, deliverance or breakthrough? For us Christians, peace is the FIRST blessing. That is why when Jesus sent out his disciples, He said to them, “When you enter a house, first say, “Peace to this house. If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you.” (Luke 10: 5-6 NIV) In this, we learn the manner of proclaiming the blessing of God because if anyone receives healing, deliverance or breakthrough but are without peace then they are definitely NOT from God.

This peace is a pregnant word for there is peace born of God and that of the world which is attached to material provisions. In John 14:27, Jesus said “my peace I give you, but not as the world offers you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” You may be sick, poor or bankrupt but if you have the peace of God, you will be calm because it is possible for one to be challenged yet be at peace in Christ Jesus. However, when you worry, murmur and complain amidst your challenges, satan will see your desperation and offer you a counterfeit blessing. That is, you will get married, be wealthy, or in good health but without the real and everlasting peace – this is how you know that what you received is not from God.

So, do not be desperate for a blessing but learn to be patient with God because He will never answer you out of your impatience. Rather He said, “In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you.” (Isaiah 49: 8 NIV) This means that there is a day that has been set for your healing, deliverance or breakthrough. Although, you may not know the day, time or hour that has been set for your blessing, by faith with patience and perseverance you will get there in Jesus’ name.

THE GRACE OF GOD IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU!
