From a very young age, Nyasha Kimberly Machinya has been a brilliant child who normally coloured her reports with trails of grade A+ and A’s. She was a studious and ever attentive to her academics and when she came to 3G Ministries in the year 2015, all that was increased to a greater level. She explained that her journey in 3G Ministries began once she was introduced to PPS (Prophet, Parents and Students initiative) that started in 2014 and runs till date. Having had the privilege to enroll for such a God given initiative, the eleven year old began to have quiet confidence in God. However, all this cannot be accredited to human effort hence she explains that she began to do well more than ever because she was encouraged by the messages of Prophet Cedric addressing academics during the PPS meetings.
“On one occasion the man of God told us to marry our books and also divorce bad habits. And when I heard this, I began to read more and more hence my attention and direction was focused on my academics.”- said Nyasha. Having heard and executed what she had heard, God could not disappoint her as she confirms that she began to soar even higher in her academics. “With the quiet confidence I had in God and the encouragement I got from my family, I took a bold step to register for the PSLE examinations even though I was a standard 6 student,”- she alluded. Having taken such a step, she involved God in everything she did and set her trust and hope in Him so as to achieve the best.
With a happy heart, confirmed by a smile on her face, Nyasha announced that she got an overall grade A comprising of 5A’s and a B. Adding on such a glorious testimony, her aunt could not hide her delight as she said, “ Nyasha was born brilliant but this would not have been possible without God. As parents, let us involve God in the academics of our children hence nothing shall be a barrier and the sky the limit.”
